The Artists: Anna Cecil

"Painting en plein air is one of life's greatest freedoms. When I paint outside I feel completely connected to the natural environment around me. I liken the immersive feeling to wild swimming, another of life's greatest highs. It is this connection to the beauty of the natural world I want the viewer to feel too when they look at my paintings, to be absorbed in the journey of the painting, through my world of colour".

Anna's Skiing Paintings are snapshots of life in the Mountains as she explores the unique colour palette and fleeting moments of descending a snow covered landscape.
